ACHIEVEMENTS

Wide-ranging activity of Military Institute of Armament Technology and the results of scientific, research and design works indicate the leading role of the Institute among military and civilian scientific units, performing tasks in the area of development and exploitation of weaponry technology. A measurable effect of this position are patents obtained, numerous distinctions and awards.

YEAR 2020:

  • Defender Award for the PIORUN Autonomous Gunner Training Simulator for Portable Anti-Aircraft Missile Set.
  • Award in the competition organized by the Association of Suppliers for Uniformed Services “State Security Leader-2020” in the category Innovative Product for: “Moskit LR anti-tank guided missile.”
  • Medal for an attractive and interesting way of presenting the stand during XXVIII International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce.

YEAR 2019:

  • Distinction of XXVII International Defence Industry Exhibition and XXV International Logistics Fair for an attractive and interesting way of presenting the stand at MSPO 2019 in Kielce
  • Defender Award for the first Polish insensitive explosive elaborated in a prototype artillery shell with a test stand and complete STANAG 4439 compliant tests
  • Defender award for mobile, modular simulator for LEOPARD 2A5 tank crew (Table Top Trainer-TTT-Leo 2A5)
  • Award in the competition organized by the Association of Suppliers for Uniformed Services “State Security Leader-2019” in the category Innovative Product titled “DragonFly backpack, collapsible, combat multicopter”
  • Badge of Honour “For Merits to Invention” awarded by the Poland Prime Minister Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki
  • Innovation Laurel 2019′ award in the Stanislaw Staszic competition for the design of the 9x19mm PW INKA pistol

YEAR 2018:

  • Silver INNOVATION LAUREL 2018 for the GX-1 family of warheads for Combat Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
  • DEFENDER award for 122 mm M-21 Feniks HE rocket together with MESKO company
  • Diamond STATE SECURITY LEADER 2018 for the GX-2 family of warheads for Combat Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
  • Innovation Award for the Poland Armed Forces 1st degree in the category Concepts for the design of microwave energy weapon directed on the basis of power compressors designed to combat single and group targets of unmanned aerial vehicles
  • Innovation Award for the Polish Armed Forces 2nd degree in the category “Special Purpose Projects” for the design of GX-1 warheads for Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles
  • Innovation Award for the Poland Armed Forces 2nd degree in the category “Research and Development Projects” for the design of GX-2 warheads for Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles
  • Distinction “Innovations for the Poland Armed Forces in the category “Research and Development Projects” for the design of a flexible ballistic insert with an anti-sagging spacer for a ballistic vest
  • Medal for original and innovative style of trade show speech during MSPO 2018

YEAR 2017:

  • 2nd Degree Award in MOND Competition for the Best Science and Implementation in the Area of Defence, in the category for the best implementation of a product resulting from scientific research or development works for the work entitled: “Warheads for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles”
  • GOLDEN INNOVATION LAUREL for the project “Technology of Individualization of Multifunctional Ballistic Concealed-Carry Vests Construction” submitted by Institute of Security Technology “MORATEX”. The awarded consortium also included Military Institute of Armament Technology
  • Award Teraz Polska /Poland Now/ in the category of Innovative Venture, for the 120 mm. cartridge with kinetic projectile APFSDS-T for Leopard 2 MBT, in which a novel and innovative on a global scale technology of producing the penetrator was used
  • Honorable Mention of the 5th edition of the Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski Polish Industrial Lobby “Bene Meritus pro Industria Poloniae” for Col. Jacek Borkowski – author of patents and manager and author of numerous awarded research and development works in the field of armaments in Military Institute of Armament Technology
  • First prize in Innovation Competition for the Poland Armed Forces for Military Institute of Armament Technology for “Intelligent anti-missile for anti-tank missiles”
  • Distinctions in the Innovation Competition for the Polish Armed Forces for the projects: “Training and training device for 23 mm anti-aircraft cannons and 23 mm artillery and rocket sets” and for the project “Development of technology for making a thermal shield for training and shooting at night”
  • 8.09.2017 r. Honored for the elegance and style of its trade show appearance at the 2017 MSPO International Defense Industry Exhibition

YEAR 2016:

  • First Degree Award in the Ministry of Defence Competition for the Best Scientific Work and Implementation in the Area of Defence, in two categories: “best scientific work” for the research project “Armor penetration by kinetic projectiles” and “best implementation of a product resulting from scientific research or development works” for the product called “120 mm cartridge with combat kinetic projectile of APFSDS-T type for the cannon of Leopard 2A4 MBT”
  • Special Distinction of the Minister of National Defense during the XXIV International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce for the unmanned GK-1/GO-1 vertical take-off and landing warhead carrier code-named DRAGONFLY
  • Silver Laurel of the 4th edition of the Stanislaw Staszic Contest for the Best Innovative Products “Innovation Laurel 2016” in the category of Military Technology for Military Institute of Armament Technology for the project “Combat Unmanned Aircraft System of the micro vertical take-off class Dragon Fly”
