On August 14, 2025, the Military Institute of Armament Technology hosted a solemn celebration of the Polish Army Day.
The ceremony began with the singing of the national anthem and the laying of a bunch of flowers under the obelisk commemorating the Institute’s employees – in tribute to their work, dedication and contribution to the history of WITU.
The Director of the Institute, Col. Paweł Sweklej, PhD, Eng., presented gold, silver and bronze medals “Armed Forces in the Service of the Fatherland”, awarded by the Minister of National Defence for long-term, exemplary service and work in the Polish Armed Forces.
During the ceremony, WITU commemorative badges were also awarded – a distinction awarded to soldiers, employees and persons and institutions particularly meritorious for the Military Institute of Armament Technology.
