On May 27, 2026, a delegation from the Military Armament Technology Institute (MIAT) participated in Drone Summit 2026, a prestigious defence innovation forum held in Riga, along with its accompanying Expo. This event serves as one of the key meeting points for NATO member states, focusing on the development of unmanned weapon systems and counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) technologies.
The Institute’s presence at Drone Summit 2026 highlights the strong position of Polish scientific and research expertise on the international stage, while simultaneously establishing a foundation for future multinational research and development projects.
