A significant step forward for Poland’s defense capabilities!
On July 22, 2025, the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL) hosted an official signing ceremony for targeted grants focused on improving the tactics, techniques, and procedures for the combat use of Unmanned Weapon Systems.
The event was attended by key representatives from R&D institutions and the Ministry of National Defence, represented by Secretary of State Cezary Tomczyk. In his speech, he emphasized that developing modern unmanned technologies is vital for the security and operational effectiveness of the Polish Armed Forces.
We are proud to announce that the Military Institute of Armament Technology (WITU) is among the institutions selected to execute these strategic projects. For years, WITU has been at the forefront of R&D efforts to boost the Polish Army’s potential through innovative technological solutions.
These agreements open new doors for testing, implementing, and perfecting drone tactics—a crucial move toward their full operational use on the modern battlefield.
