On July 30, 2025, the Military Institute of Armament Technology (WITU) participated in a high-level meeting during Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s official visit to the Air Force Institute of Technology (ITWL). WITU was represented by its Deputy Director for Cooperation, Mariusz Soczyński, PhD, Eng.

The meeting, which included key leadership from the Ministry of National Defence (MON) led by Deputy Minister Cezary Tomczyk, focused on the presentation of cutting-edge technologies vital to the ongoing modernization of the Polish Armed Forces.

During the event, WITU showcased a portfolio of its latest developments, including:

  • Moskit anti-tank guided missile;
  • Next-generation warheads;
  • Anti-drone missile systems;
  • DragonFly light strike system;
  • Moskit Missile: A Strategic Asset for Polish Soldiers.

The Moskit anti-tank guided missile garnered significant attention from the government delegation. The system has been submitted to the Ministry of National Defence’s procurement program and a dedicated development project under the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR).

Designed to provide Polish troops with a lightweight, high-precision solution, the Moskit is capable of neutralizing armored targets and hovering helicopters at ranges up to 4,500 meters, featuring a penetration capability of 700 mm RHA. As WITU retains full intellectual property rights to the system, it serves as a versatile platform for future upgrades, including extended-range variants and a shoulder-launched configuration for single-operator use.

WITU’s participation in this event highlights the Institute’s critical role in Poland’s Research and Development sector. By delivering advanced, sovereign technologies, WITU continues to be a cornerstone in building modern defense capabilities and ensuring the technological independence of the Polish Armed Forces.
