The International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) was held in Kielce on September 2–5, 2025. The event hosted 811 companies from 35 countries and attracted 39,000 visitors, including numerous official delegations and approximately 670 accredited journalists.
The exhibition was opened by Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence. Prime Minister Donald Tusk also attended MSPO, touring the stands and emphasizing the vital role of Polish companies in the modernization of the Armed Forces. The event featured numerous conferences and panel discussions focused on cooperation between the military and the private sector, defense strategy, and the integrated air and missile defense system project.
The Military Institute of Armament Technology (WITU) presented its latest achievements and proposals for the Armed Forces and the defense industry. Highlights included the Dragonfly combat drone with the GX-1 warhead, the Giez drone with the GX-4 warhead, a family of FPV drones (VPL7/10/15 models) with low-cost UAV warheads, and the “ReconStrike” reconnaissance and strike simulator for UAV operators. Other innovations on display included a portable quantum key distribution (QKD) station, a controlled minefield with the DICOS communication module, and a three-stage suborbital rocket (40 kg payload capacity) designed for atmospheric research and microgravity testing.
WITU also showcased a 600 mm rocket engine model, a 105 mm test-platform rocket, the “Chelicer” directional sapper charge, the “Ptasznik” universal special charge, and a cumulative bottom charge for EOD and anti-armor applications. Additional exhibits included the “Moskit” guided missile, the RPG-25 “Woodpecker” disposable grenade launcher, a tandem anti-tank shaped-charge mine with the ZN-97/M fuze, “Pangolin” add-on armor, as well as 120 mm mortar bomb bodies and 155 mm artillery shells manufactured using casting and forging technologies.
Several agreements were signed during the exhibition, including partnerships for joint R&D and economic goals, the development of combat unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) defining strategic cooperation areas.
The Military Institute of Armament Technology, together with Autocomp Management Sp. z o.o., received an award from the Commander of the Territorial Defence Forces for the “ReconStrike” simulator. The Institute was also honored with the TOP DESIGN award for its outstanding stand arrangement.
